A personal illustrated book created during Erasmus, where each family member becomes a flower with distinct needs and symbolism.
Raíces de pétalos was created while Alba was living abroad during Erasmus. Far from home and adapting to two new lives in one year, she imagined her family as a garden in which every flower needs a different form of care.
The book combines traditional drawing, digital illustration and editorial design. It was an independent passion project and a way to reflect on distance, gratitude and the relationships that continue to provide support across countries.
