Painting Studies
An open collection of pictorial studies beginning with two early oil portraits of Alba's sisters.
This evolving collection begins with Alba's first two oil paintings, completed in December 2023. The 80 x 80 cm tondos portray her sisters through two contrasting colour atmospheres.
One portrait is warm and direct, while the other moves through blue and violet light. Future entries may explore landscape, abstraction or other pictorial languages without limiting the archive to portraiture.
