Fine Arts final project about grief, memory, resilience and the poppy as a healing symbol.
El traç de l'absència is Alba's Fine Arts final degree project. It studies grief after suicide, the persistence of memory and the possibility of emotional repair through pictorial language.
The project uses oil painting, anatomical references and floral symbolism to speak about absence without turning it into spectacle. The poppy becomes a central image of fragility, memory and healing.
For this portfolio, the project works as a bridge between Alba's conceptual painting practice and her future in animation: it shows research, symbolic thinking and the capacity to build meaning through image sequences.
