A five-painting project about suicide loss, memory and the role of care during grief.
El traç de l'absència was developed as Alba's Fine Arts final degree project at the University of Barcelona. It approaches suicide loss from the perspective of those who remain, reflecting on affection, support and memory during recovery.
A sequence of five oil paintings traces a path of resilience. Human anatomy and floral symbolism, especially the poppy, create a visual language that combines emotional intensity with a reflective and empathetic gaze.
